25th Anniversary

For 25 years, St. John Bosco Catholic School has remained rooted in Christ while continually rising in excellence. From our humble beginnings to becoming a National and Arizona Blue Ribbon School, God's blessings have guided every step of our journey. As we celebrate our past, we honor those who built our foundation and look forward with hope to the future God has prepared for us — using the gifts that God has given us to make the world a better place.

How We’re Celebrating

  • Opening Anniversary Mass & Blue Ribbon Celebration Thursday, September 25th at 8:15 a.m. — A special Mass of thanksgiving hosted by our students. All are warmly invited to attend.
  • 25 Days of Prayer Beginning on the first day of school, each grade level will adopt specific prayer intentions for our founding families, alumni, teachers, priests, benefactors, and future students.
  • 25th Anniversary Bosco Gala A special evening celebrating the school’s rich history with heartfelt recognition of our founders and early leaders.
  • Catholic Schools Week Timeline An interactive display tracing the school’s major milestones, allowing students and visitors to walk through our inspiring journey of faith and growth.
  • Legacy Prayer Garden A new monumental garden featuring a lasting plaque will be dedicated at the end of the school year — a beautiful reminder of our foundation in Christ.
  • 25th Anniversary Time Capsule Near the end of the year, we will create and bury a special time capsule on school grounds to be opened at our 50th anniversary.
  • Commemorative Yearbook This year’s yearbook will be a special 25th Anniversary edition, capturing the stories and memories of this milestone year.
  • 25th Anniversary Giving Fund Looking toward the future, we are launching a dedicated giving campaign to support major building projects, including new classrooms and a gymnasium.

We also invite all SJB alumni to participate in our special events throughout the year, including the Anniversary Mass, Harvest Fest, Catholic Schools Week Open House, Trivia Night, Bosco Gala, and Birdies Fore Bosco.
