Advanced Math Program

Students are placed in the Advanced Math Program (AMP) based upon four criteria:

1. scoring in the 90th percentile on all standardized tests (MAP and Iowa)
2. classroom grades
3. teacher recommendations
4. scoring 80% or higher on an above-grade-level standards-based placement test

Students participating in AMP will go to the next grade level classroom during their math time to receive instruction 2-3 grade levels ahead.
