Dear Parents,

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Daniel Aguilar, affectionately known as "Mr. Daniel," for his dedicated years of service as the custodian at St. John Bosco Catholic School. His unwavering commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment has not gone unnoticed, and his positive impact on both staff and students is immeasurable. As he embarks on new journeys, his presence will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

I also want to thank our supportive parents for attending Curriculum Night. The wealth of social-academic data available strongly emphasizes the pivotal role of parental involvement in shaping a child's educational journey. It's quite evident that children whose parents are actively engaged in their education perform significantly better academically. I am proud to say that our SJB parents truly shine in this regard and is further exemplified by the exciting news I shared about our recent test scores. Our school doesn't just offer highly-skilled educators and state-of-the-art technology; we also have parents like you who are deeply committed to paving the way for your children's success. I extend my enthusiastic praise to our entire school community for this effort.

As we move ahead, I kindly request the cooperation of all parents to ensure the safety of our beloved students. I must stress that the north lot is intended exclusively for parking and accompanying children either to the front gate or directly to their class. This security measure is of paramount importance as it ensures your child enters the school premises in the safest manner possible. I urge you to refrain from dropping off your child in the parking lot as their safety cannot be guaranteed in such situations. We also must urge all parents to park ONLY in designated parking spots; do NOT park or wait in the fire lanes.

Moreover, for those of you utilizing our efficient carpool service, particularly if you have young children secured in car seats, please remain in your vehicle. Our dedicated enrichment teachers will be on hand to assist your child in and out of your car with the utmost care and attention, ensuring their safety at all times. All you need to do is pull up, and we will take care of everything else!

Your continued support and cooperation mean the world to us. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.
