Dear Parents,
I hope you're enjoying the remaining weeks of summer vacation with your children! I've noticed that many stores have started stocking school supplies, so please take a moment to review your child's grade level school supply list. It's important to ensure they have everything they need before the first day of school.
I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of our "new parents" next Wednesday, July 26, at 5:30pm for New Family Night. This event is designed to help our new parents understand how the first few days of school work, provide information on ordering lunches and purchasing uniforms, introduce them to members of our parent leadership team, and explain how SJB makes Catholic Education affordable. Please note that this is a parent-only event specifically for parents new to SJB this year.
I'm excited to invite you all to "Meet the Teacher" on Monday, August 7, from 3:30-5:30pm. This event is a wonderful opportunity for your child to meet their teachers and for you to drop off their school supplies before the busy first day of school.
We will continue to have Spirit Days every Wednesday, allowing students to wear ANY SJB shirt of their choice along with their uniform bottoms. This includes options like Running with Rosco shirts, old P.E. shirts, Student Council shirts, Campus Ambassadors shirts, and more. You can also choose to purchase an SJB spirit shirt and/or school-approved accessories from vendors located in our SJB Spirit Shop: Marianne's Creations or Dos Yahoos.
If you're in need of school uniforms such as polos, uniform shorts, jumpers, skirts, P.E. T-shirts, and more, you might want to visit Anton Uniforms. They have both a physical store in Tempe and a website. To ensure your child follows the dress code, please refer to the school uniform dress code mentioned in the Parent and Student Handbook 2023-2024 or view the photo slideshow.
