The first school week was truly fantastic! Thanks to our incredible Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), our students arrived on campus and were greeted by balloons and a festive backdrop perfect for picture-taking. Fr. James and I were filled with joy as we welcomed every student and their families through the glorious gates of SJB.
We hope you will join us tomorrow (Saturday) at 6:30pm for our Back-to-School BBQ hosted by our PTO, Dads’ Club, St. Benedict Parish, and the Fr. Bob Binta Knights of Columbus. Free food, music, games, face painting, and a dunk tank will be provided for all to enjoy. This event will be held outside in the courtyard and in the MPR.
Our annual Curriculum Night for Preschool–6th Grade is Wednesday, August 16 at 5:30pm starting in the Multi-purpose Room (MPR) with prayer, Principal Address, and information. You will then proceed to your child’s classroom to hear a brief teacher presentation regarding the curriculum, daily routine, and expectations. For parents of preschool through sixth graders, there will be two 30-minute classroom sessions: the first session is 6:30–7:00pm; the second session is 7:00–7:30pm. This is a parents-only event.
Teachers of enrichment programs (STEM, music, library, Spanish, Art, P.E., and resource) will be available in the library from 6:30-7:30pm to answer questions and provide information about their impressive curriculums.
Curriculum Night for Jr. High is Thursday, August 17 at 5:30pm in the Multi-purpose Room (MPR) with prayer, principal address, and information pertaining to Jr. High ONLY.
